An initial design for my environment however after having feedback from lecturers I am going to put a corner onto the end of the mountain and make it darker to emphasize the light within the sketch.

The final design with outlines however it looks scruffy and very messy.

These images show some of the development of my shield for my character, I think the color scheme of the shield however I need to clean up the lines around the shield in order to finish the design off, which I am going to look into and also a few other sketches to finish off the prop.

A more developed version of my character. After the alpha presentation I decided to develop him further from an angel into a conjoined twin with stronger bat wings, this was because I felt him to be a little dull and boring on his own and has given a new dynamic to the character. :)

Character History

Past

My character is an angel, he has had a good childhood due to being in heaven and has lived there all his life however his father has been away for a large period of time due him being a high ranking officer in the war that has been raging on for years on earth. The time period is the middle ages and humans are in medieval times.

Present

My character has just turned 21 and can now join the fight on earth which he has been preparing for his whole life. He has finished his training and is now waiting for the call in order to help the fight. He lives with his mother, twin brother and younger sister. Both him and his brother are waiting to join the fight. He has a large amount of friends due to being a twin. They have been fierce competitors throughout their training and have both been top of the class all aspects of fighting.

Future

The purpose of this character is to try and help the angels win the war on earth with his brother and join their father in the battle. He is trying to make a name for himself in order to try and match his fathers greatness in battle.

Environment

The character lives in heaven however he is about to go down to earth, the time period on earth is the middle ages and he is heading towards Europe where the battle is raging. On earth the humans are fighting for supremacy which battles happening all over. The main battle is in Britain, in medieval times and that is where he will be sent. The environment is typical middle ages with stone and wood towns dotted around with a vast countryside. In heaven they have pure white stone towns with gold roads, heading toward a Roman type of feel. As the character comes from heaven they have large angel wings on their back and can use them to fly.

Personality

This character has a very commanding personality, lots of presence and leadership capabilities. He is a person which other people look up to. He is reliable in a battle and will always be on the front lines being able to put his life on the line to save another, he is a go-getter and wants to be the first at everything due to this he is very competitive with his brother. He is usually very level heading and can always think on his feet however deep at the back of his mind he has a very explosive temper which only the strength from his brother can calm. If his temper comes out he get enraged and becomes a ruthless killing machine, killing everything in his path with no remorse or mercy which can sometimes have negative effect. He relies on his brother to calm him and has spent all his life fighting next to him. He is well educated in all the different fields of battle both strength and tactics. He has a wide family tree is filled with warriors from all ages.

Look of the character

The character isn't very technically advanced compared with today's technology, as they are in the middle ages. They don't have electricity or any of today's accessories, they have more Roman and medieval technology which incorporates magic and lore of gods. He has iron armour with a blue tint and gold outlines which is the colour of his family. In addition to this he wields a large great-sword which is identical to his brothers however their handles are different colours, his is teal and his brothers is red. The swords were specially made for the brothers as they were the first twins in the family, however when he goes into a rage the sword will glow brightly with a teal aura which gives a small indication when he may enter an enrage. I have used medieval armour crossed with Roman gods armour for his design, however it will have a military base to match his personality and purpose.

The character is well built and has a hard muscular body due to his upbringing for battle. He is a humanoid, and looks like a traditional human, he has skin and bone. His wings are angelic, and are made up of white feathers. He has blonde hair and is olive skinned, when he is enraged his eyes show a bright teal light and his hair flows like he is underwater. His wings fan out which he then lifts off and floats rather than walking around so he can get to his next foe quicker. He has a chiselled facial structure with stubble on his chin, his eyes are green and can talk. He moves by walking or flying however when he is enraged he only flies around as it is faster. When he walks he puts his shoulders back and chest out. When they are idle he stands up straight, never leans or is hunched over.

One day when he was enraged, his brother tried to calm him down as usual however something went wrong and when they went to punch each other and they joined together using some type of fusion which conjoined then forever. They joined bodies however mutating meaning so they had a normal body, with both heads and 4 arms, in addition to this their wings mutated from normal angel wings to more muscular bat-wings in order to cope with the larger weight of the conjoined twins as they have lost their muscularity and have gained weight and have a little bit of a pot belly. From this new physic they have turned lazy, they have settled down into a little castle on a remote hilltop due to the fact that he has calmed down from the fusion. As he has fused together they new twins have got both weapons from each twin and now uses them together masterfully. One has a scimitar and the other a large shield.

A few blocked color designs of my character however cant decide what color scheme to go for yet, need to think about my environment first before i choose anything!!!! :)
